On February 29, 2008, on an update the company reported a mineral resource containing 840,000 ounces of gold has been indicated with additional inferred reserves estimated at 2.74 million ounces of gold. Significant copper and silver mineralization increases the gold-equivalent resource to 1.31 million ounces in the indicated category and 4.44 million ounces in the inferred category. The indicated resource consists of 30 million tons grading 0.87 grams/t, 2.64 g/t silver and 0.24% copper.

Several significant shale-hosted polymetallic mineral occurrences similar to the Selwyn Basin in the Yukon Territory, which hosts the very large Howard's Pass zinc deposit. Tertiary age porphyry intrusions at the BMP, which have formed copper-zinc-silver skarns, and breccia-pipe style deposits, indicate potential for a large porphyry deposit. Bowser Creek also presents the same mineralizing conditions with extensive undrilled targets.

The mineralization in this area comprises disseminated and net textured magmatic sulfides in the lower half of the gently dipping sill. At the Chip Loy Prospect, disseminated to semi-massive sulfides occur at the base of the gabbro sill, which is exposed over an 1100-foot strike length with a potential for a high-grade Ni-Cu-Co massive sulfide deposit of moderate tonnage. The style of mineralization at Robert PGM suggests potential for a moderate to large tonnage gabbro-hosted Pt-Pd deposit. Roberts PGM occurrence ranged up to 0.492 opt total PGEs (Pt, Pd, Ir, Os, Rh, Ru), 2.27% nickel and 1.31% copper. Surface samples from the Chip Loy occurrence ranged up to 2.75% Ni, 0.40% Cu and 0.18% Co.
